Mind-scape series

In the spirit of shanshui I have posed this series of imagined landscapes or environments as hovering or floating in the space of the paper-ground they are placed within. The images are cut from tourist brochures and magazines together with shapes and forms brush-stroked onto rice paper cut from works I have painted previously.
Each image is approximately 80 cm x 60cm.
